These terms describe how EBENAI AGENCY ("Ebenai", "we") works with its clients ("you"). Each project also has a written quote. If the quote and these terms disagree, the quote you accepted applies.

1. Our services

We design, build and launch websites for small businesses, and offer optional hosting and monthly maintenance. What is included in your project, its price and its timeline are set out in your quote.

2. Quotes and acceptance

Quotes are valid until the date written on them. Your project starts once you have accepted the quote in writing and paid the deposit.

3. Payment

• 50% deposit to start the work, and the remaining 50% before the website goes live.
• Prices are in Hong Kong dollars. You can pay by card through Stripe, by FPS or by bank transfer.
• Hosting from the second year and monthly maintenance are billed separately, as written in your quote.

4. Timeline

The timeline in your quote starts once we have received both the deposit and your content (text, photos, logo, business details). Delays in receiving content or feedback move the timeline accordingly.

5. Your content

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us (text, photos, logos, brand names) and that it is accurate. You are responsible for the information shown on your website, including prices and opening hours.

6. Reviews and approval

We share the website with you before launch so you can request changes within the scope of the quote. If we have not heard from you within 15 business days after sending the final version, the website is treated as approved.

7. Ownership and domain

Once you have paid in full, the website's design and content made for you belong to you. Your domain name is registered in your name. We may show your website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

8. Search engines

We set up the technical basics that help search engines read your website. We cannot guarantee any position on Google or any number of visitors or customers.

9. Responsibility

We do our work carefully and with reasonable skill. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for a project is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending a project

You can stop a project at any time by writing to us. What happens to the money already paid is explained in our refund and cancellation policy.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and its courts have jurisdiction.
